Well, welcome to anotheredition of On Point Live.Hi, everybody, right here from theManhattan Beach Studios.I'm Vince Ferragamo, former Super Bowl quarterbackwith the Los Angeles Rams.Alongside of me is 20-yearNFL legend and Hall of Famer,Jackie Slater. And Jackie, we want to remind our viewersto continue to subscribeto our On Point channelbecause it's coming closerand closer to football season.Jackie, we wanteverybody to engage with us.It's going to be a greatseason this coming year. And On Point Live withVince and Jackie, don't forget.Absolutely.And Jackie, you know what?We have to first announcethe winner of our contestfrom last week.OK, last week was the 4th of July.Jackie came over for a barbecue. And I think, youknow, Jackie, you probablydisappointed a lot of viewers.I'm telling you.Yeah, but I've been there. As a matter of fact, JoeyChestnut called you a lightweight. This guy ate 61 hot dogs, Jackie,in a matter of a few minutes. He didn't have a Vince. He didn't have the coleslaw. He didn't have the bread. He didn't have the rolls. He didn't have the cabbage slaw.I mean, he didn't have thebeans or the corn on the car.It was all good. How are you going to pass up all of that?Oh, you had to.But you know how manyribs you ate, right?Jackie, we had so many people tryingto guess how many you would eat.We had up to 43 ribs, people said.I know I'm going to disappoint. You were slowing down after four or five.Wait a minute. But you know how many Jack--Mostly my metabolism.Mostly my metabolism. So Jackie, you ate a dozen. You ate 12 ribs.Yeah, it was a good, lean, full rack that I started with. And I was ambitious.I thought I could startwith that and keep moving on.Then you slowed down.I slowed down and slowed to a row. There was too much talking going on.Way too much communication. You can't communicate when you'retrying to consume some ribs.Well, we had toannounce the winners, Jackie, because they're going to get a bottle ofwine and some cheese. The Ferragamo is super Tuscan. But we had two finalists.A girl by the name ofMary Howells guessed 11 ribs. She almost had it.But then Phil Clinton cameaboard and he guessed 12.So we have to give it to Phil.Phil, make sure yousend us in your addressso we know where to send the ribs--or not the ribs. We're going to sendyou some cheese and wine.So we want to thankyou all for participatingand joining with us.It was a lot of fun.And we had a great time.It was a lot of fun. Thanks a lot for participating, Phil. And so this week, we're going to dosomething a little funnyand a little change of pace. We're going to do what inthe world with sports trivia. And since this week is the all-star gamefor the Major League Baseball, we'regoing to pick most ofour trivia questionsfrom the field of baseball, Jackie.Absolutely.Yeah, I mean, there's no way around it.It's only you can get around us.You've got a couple of ones. We've got the all-star break. We've got the all-star break coming up.The Dodgers are sending a bunch of guys. The Angels are sending some guys. We've got Clayton Kershaw,Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman,Martinez, Will Smith, and of course,Trout and old Tiny downthere with the Angels. We've got some special--That's five from one team. That's a lot. It's five from one team.Yeah, and they're all special. They're having really good years. The Dodgers are back infirst place, I think, Jackie.I believe so.I believe so.Well, anyway, Vince, Iwas looking at baseballand thinking about it.And baseball is a greatteacher to our young peoplein this country. One of the things that it teaches usis how to overcome failure. And failure happens quite often whenyou're playing baseball,as you are not going to hitthe ball every single timeit's pitched to you.So how about this guy? This guy struck out 2,597 times, Vince. That's right.Almost 2,600 strikeouts. That's not in one year, I hope. That's over his career.Well, that's over his career. He won two silver slugger awards, and two teams have retired his jersey.Who do you think that is?With all of that failure at the plate--I need some more hint. You got another hint?OK, yeah, I got more hints.I got a couple more hints. He led the AmericanLeague in home runs four times. He was an MVP in 1973, andhe played in five World Serieswinning four of them.Is he in the Hall of Fame? He's in the Hall of Fame. And he struck out more than anybodythat has ever played the game, Vince.I'm telling you, that'spart of the game, Jackie. But when you can hit a homerun, you can drive in runs, your RBIs are up, youwin World Series that way. It's like quarterbackthrowing an interception. You throw aninterception, forget about it.Do you have any idea who it is?I think so, becauseyou mentioned one thingthat clicked in my mind. And that was he was with twoteams that retired his jersey. One East Coast, one West Coast team.I didn't say that.Well, I bet. You're guessing. This is my guess. He's got a nickname.Does he have a nickname?Yes, he does.He does have a nickname.Mr. October.Absolutely.Reggie Jackson. You got it.You got it.You got it.Reggie Jackson.Once he's something--Man, I'm thinking. You know, he played with the Angels, too.So we got to see him.We went to a lot of theAngel games on that time.He was a hot commodity. That was great.OK.Yeah.Vince, this is a little bit differentand has to be taken alittle bit more serious, because people with health has to be amajor concern for allof us.But this young man, a baseball player,he had to take time off.The team decided torest him up, because hehad a sneezing attack. But he had some allergies.Hey, I've beensneezing a lot lately, too.I don't know where the wind's going. But wait a minute, Vince. This young man had a sneezing attack, and he couldn't stopsneezing, and he had severe painin his upper thoracic area.Every time he sneezed. What, he loses his breath or something? He's like, he can't just breathe. He's out of the lineupfor a number of games. What happened to him?He gets some spasms or something?I just told you what he happened to him.He had a sneezing attack.Do you remember who it was?Who is this guy?Go out here.Think about it.Was he from the Midwest,or from the East Coast? No, no, no, no, no.Where is he?Vince. It was Sammy Sosa.Don't you remember when he--one time he was sweaty, and they lifted him up.They lifted him up afterthe dugout and squeezed himso that he could breathe.Take a deep breath.Oh, man.Come on.I wonder how many fans got that at home.Did you guys get that, Sammy Sosa?I never knew that.Yeah, yeah. That was a good trip.It was a sneezing. That was a good one.All right, all right, Vince. You got something else?Yeah, yeah.Something a little easier. Here's one a little bit easier for you.Because this is America'sgame, you know, baseball.During the average baseball game, how many minutes ofaction, actual playing time,is there in a three-hour baseball game?Well, let's see. They can throw theball 100 miles an hour. And remember, they'retrying to speed it up now. They got a clock onthe pitches right now, trying to speed it up.But that's not action time.So actually, when the ball is pitched, and then the guy swings thebat, and he runs the ball--All of it.All of it.All of it.All of it.All the action. How many minutes of actual actionoccurs in a three-hour baseball--30 minutes, maybe 30 minutes.Yeah.Wrong.Wrong.18 minutes of actual action in athree-hour baseball game.Therein lies the reasonwhy I didn't play baseballfor the most part.I think I needed more action.I must have been a little bit hyper. That explains there's 162 games, whythere's that many games.Yeah.You only play in 18 minutes a game.18 minutes a game. Can you imagine the NFL player playing--Well, I think football isless than that, maybe Jackie.Well, but the impact, the physical impact, there's no comparison. The 18 seconds of footballversus 18 seconds of baseballis two different worlds. Two totally different worlds. All right, I got one more for you, Vince. And this grieves my heart abit to have to remember this. But you remember retiredbaseball player Clint Barnes?Barnes, B-A-R-M-E-S. Heplayed with the Colorado Rockies. And he broke his collarbone. That's a bad thing.Bad injury.Bad injury for a baseballplayer to break his collarbone. And in his rookie season in 2005, Vince, before he broke his collarbone, hehad a 329 batting average. He had eight home runsat that particular time. And when he broke his collarbone,he basically never really played again. He was pretty much done. Not effective.Do you remember what he was doingwhen he broke his collarbone?Clint-- I don't know. From Colorado? With the Colorado Rockies in 2005.He probably was slidingthe second base head firstor something and ruined his arm.Sliding in the second?Yeah, is that right?Sliding in thesecond, sliding in the home, something like that. You might think.Somebody blocked the plate. But actually, Vince, whathappened was a friend of hishad gone hunting and killed a deer. And he brought--Well, that's likely when he pulled out.He brought the deerhome and gave it to him.And Brother Barnes had thedeer up over his shoulderand was going up some stairs. And he fell and broke his shoulder. He never played again after this, carrying a deer caucus. There must have been a heavypiece of meat or something.Maybe it lost itsbalance and just went down. They probably just guttedthe deer, dressed him out,and gave him to him.And he was probably going to go upstairs, put him in a freezeror something like that.He was never the same again, I bet.Never the same.Never the same.Quick, I don't think heever played anymore after that. The injury was so severe. And we shouldn't be laughing at that, but that's just where thecookie crumbles sometimes.Well, I got a question foryou, a baseball question. This happens to dealwith one of the best playersin recent times, Jackie, maybe in all of baseball forever.Show Heo Tani for the Angels. He's our local fan favorite here. And Jackie, he's in hisfinal year of his contract. So at the end of thisyear, he'll be a free agent. Will the Angels-- and he's spoken,he's been outspoken abouthow much he loves SouthernCalifornia in the weather. Will the Angels re-sign him? Will the Dodgers re-sign him?The Dodgers have a lot of interest. You know what? They love pitchers. But this guy is both a batter. He can hit home runs. And he also is a great pitcher.Jackie, he's a phenom. They think he's goingto hit 50 home runs. He's on course to hit 50, Jackie. Now, he also is hitting 302.Have you ever seen a pitcher? No.Sandy Colfax couldn't hit a thing. It was the greatest pitcherthe Dodgers probably ever had.But I'm telling you, he struck out a lot.But this guy can hit the ball.He hits home runs, Jackie. How many home runs is he on?He's at 32 home runs now.32 home runs. Can you see theAngels not re-signing him?Well, I mean, all I know is I live--I'm in that area.I'm watching the Angels all the time. And I have been thoroughlyimpressed with Mike Troutover his career. And I'm thinking Mike Trout could--he could have been a football player. He could have been arunning back, outside linebacker, middle linebacker, wherever you want to put him. That's on.He's built like a tank now.And he's had ameasurable amount of success. But I'm sitting here watchingthe Angels gain, more so nowsince the pandemic andeverything, than any other time. And I'm listening to thesemost respected commentators.Hell, all of this praise, unique praise on Shohei Ohtani. And I'm thinking tomyself, I'm watching--I'm watching-- it'salmost like watching Babe Ruth, like the guys who watched what he did.And so I'm thinking to myself, thereis no way that the peoplethat's running the Angelsgoing to let this guy leave town.Unless he just decides thatI want to go someplace else, for whatever that reason maybe, whatever he's going to make,he should make it right down in Anaheim.Because look at what's going on.They got people coming out.A part of the welcoming ofthe fans in Orange Countyis to say, you come and seethis guy and what he's doingso that you can have a piece of history.Well, he becomes thehighest-aid baseball player, Jackie. How does he not?How does he not become the high school--He's two for one. He's like two guys in one.Right.He can hit, he can pitch.Absolutely.And you had a problem with his shoulderrecently and everything. No, it was his finger. No, season two of Goa had somethinggoing on with hisshoulder or arm or something.I'm thinking, OK, anotherpitcher with an arm problem. But he's been pitching. The only thing thattook him out of line upwas when he had a blister.Yeah.A blister.A blister will heal.A blister will heal. And if I'm managementand I'm looking at this guywith a blister asopposed to a shoulder problem--Because he can play in the outfield. He can play first base. And he can bat.Yeah, he can bat.And he can bat.So I mean, thisSho-Hale Tiny Man is just--He's just--I can't see the Angels letting him go.You know the reason why, Jackie? You mentioned Babe Ruth. The Red Sox had Babe Ruth on their team. They traded him to the New York Yankees.Jackie, they had problems for years. Was that the curse of the Bandino? It was the curse.Curse of the Bandino.Exactly.What would they call this? The curse of old Tiny?Must be.The curse of Sho-Hale?Man, you can't.You can't let him go.You can't let him go.We don't need the curse ofSho-Hale, old Tiny, and Anaheim. If you're going to let someone go, youneed to replace him. He's irreplaceable. So you have to sign him.You got to sign him.You got to sign him. That'll be interesting. Now, can you see theDodgers going after him?Sure could.I sure could. They've got the money. They're going to spend it.They'll go after a guy like that.I guarantee you, Magic Johnson--If he becomes a freeagent, they'll jump on it.Exactly.If Magic Johnson has aword to say about it--Oh, yeah, he'll get it.He'll get the best. There ain't no doubt about it.OK, we have to jump sports, Jackie. We got to go to the tennis.OK, right now, we've gotWimbledon going on right now.Wimbledon, yes. Some great actions, some great plays, some great players are playing. My wife's favorite, Matteo Bertolini.Of course, he thinks he's the bestlooking guy out thereon the circuit. Is that the reason why shethinks he's the favorite? This guy is good, too.Six foot five, Jackie. He hit the ball. He's great.Well, it seems like to me, Jody havea different favoritelooking player every 10 years. So every 10 years, she has the mosthandsome tennis player. She's the only one agrees with her.I mean, there's probably alot of other women that look--They're the same thing. But I have to ask you a question. Here's a trivia question. The tennis balls, they bring them out.You know, they always havenew tennis balls out therefor these guys.Yeah, they have tennis balls. And the players will hit one aside, and they'll grab another one.How many tennis balls do you thinkWimbledon goes through during thischampionship series?Well, I mean, what do they have?Upwards of 80 matchesor something like that?Something like that. They got a lot of practice.Women, men.If you use 10 balls per match.Well, don't forget, they got doubles too. They play doubles as well, singles. So I'm counting those. Is that about 80 matchesor something like that?Probably at least.I don't know.OK, so just say youuse 10 balls per match.Yeah.800.Yeah.No.You want to know how many?Less than that. What did they use?Five balls? What in the world? What in the world?54,250 balls.54,000 balls, that is.What in the world?Where is it?I don't know.Every time I lookaround, I see one of those kidsrunning from the back orfrom the side dashing out thereand grabbing the balls.Who's going to win thesingles match, Jackie? Is it going to be Carlos Alcaraz? Is it going to be Matteo Bertolini?Or is it going to be Jovac?Novac Joker. You can roll all of those Italian names.Yeah, but I'm the Bertolini.I can't.I can say that. The Bertolini, just likeyou were the pasta in the way.Well, he's got a tough match. He's playing Alcaraz. He's playing Alcaraz.I'm going to go withthe guy that nobody likes.Well, Jokovic.Jokovic.Jokovic.He's the top player. He's ranked number one.For him?No, you know who's ranked number one?I think it's Alcaraz. And Alcaraz is only 20 years old, Jackie.Well, I think--He went from 1,700--I'm going with--Listen to this.He was rated 1,700 player. And in a couple years, two years, three years,he went to number one.So he's obviouslypretty good at what he does. They say his IQ is unbelievable, Jackie. They say that about the great players. And you know who his coach is?It's the same coach that Nadal.Oh, is that right?Yeah, Nadal has.Well, I can see getting asight about a young upstart, but I'm going to go with the old dog.I'm going to go withthe old experienced dog. He's been there. He's done that.He still-- he might not be all he was.I'll have to take Alcaraz. You're going to take Alcaraz?I think so.OK, well--España.España.OK, I'm going with the--OK, you go with the--You go with the old guy, because I'veseen old experienced win.And what are we betting? That's a good question.Yeah, we have to think about it.I have to think--How about dinner? How about dinner?Don't take me for ribs, because youcan't eat that many ribs.I'm going to have to stopeating dinner with you, man, because I eat so much with you.I'm going to mess around and gain weight.I'll decide what it is that I want, and I'll let you know later. All right, me too. We'll decide later.OK, we've got to jump sports. We've got to go back to football, and we have to talkabout Los Angeles Rams, and none other than thequarterback Matthew Stafford.Jackie, this March, whenwe were in the off season, reports from the MiamiHerald and Mike Lombardisaid that the Los AngelesRams feverishly attemptedto trade Matthew Stafford,if you can believe it or not.Since that time, there stillhasn't been one insider thathas come out to support that claim.Do you think that that was in the works,or is that just a trade rumor?Well, it's funny youbring this up now here, since Lombardi said something about it.Remember, we talked aboutthis right before the draft, about Matthew Stafford, andpossibly how they were goingto deal with his contract as it kicked inthe third day of the season. Some humongous, like $59 million bonusas addition to hiscontract, guaranteeing it all,and what all of that concluded. We were trying to decide ifthe Rams were going to do that.Well, this is what I feel, then.I feel that MatthewStafford has earned the opportunityto be presented witha contract like that. How did he earn it?Well, first of all, hewas the first overall pickin the draft when hecame in the league, OK?If that doesn't sayenough, Vince, the guyhas played in 191 games. Now, that's not allthere's so many of it,but it's a significant amount. But the interestingthing about those gamesis that he has startedeach and every one of them. He's been the starter in eachand every one of those gamesthat he's played in, eventhe years when he had injuries, taking him out of line up.So this is what I envisioned. He's durable. He's been durable. When Sean McVeigh was over there,on vacation in Hawaii and Mexico, wherever it was that they first met,and they had a sit-down conversation, and they talked for 10 or 15 minutes,Sean McVeigh came to the conclusionthat this is the brain thatI want to lead in my offense. This guy right hereknows as much as I know, and he's going to be on thefield putting it into practice. And so I got to get him on my team.So he went out and made the movesto bring him on his team. Was he right?Absolutely. He won a Super Bowl with him.Now the question comes up is,did he make that move too late?I don't think he made it too late, because they won aSuper Bowl his first year. Now looking forwardwith the big chunk of moneythat there is on the hook for with him,is he going to be worth itover the next couple of years? That is the question. And I think-- this is what I think--I think he'll be worth itover the next couple of yearsif Sean McVeigh makes some adjustments. And those adjustments are going to haveto center around a lotmore variety in theway he runs the football, make people beintrigued about how they'rerunning the football asopposed to how they'repassing it all the time. And then that way he canget some play action pass. And the other thing that has to happen,Vince, is they got a bunch of young guys, especially offensive linemen. They got a couple of guys that they'regoing to be depending onexclusively to play big minutesin their offensive line. Now this is what I know. This is not what I think orwhat I feel or what I imagine.I know this.I have never been around a good youngoffensive lineman thatended up being worth his salty sweat, that didn't get a lot of reps earlyin his career in the preseason.Sean McVeigh, he doesn't play as guyhis starters in the preseason. That ain't going to work.No.That's not going to work. Those young guys, he'sgoing to have to come outof his protocol, McVeigh is.He's going to have to putthose young offensive linemenon the field. That's the only waythey don't get any better. And if they don't get any better,we're going to haveanother situation where you'vegot a pain in your neckthat's radiating down your leg.And we don't need that when MatthewStafford is his age.Well, you mentioned a good point. You mentioned thefact that if Sean McVeighchanges the offense, his philosophy maybeconcentrates on morevariety in the running game, changes the play actionschemes so that would protectthe quarterback and keephim free to move forwardand use his skills, Jackie.OK, that's one thing. My question to you, though, is this.If they do do that, is Matthew Staffordgoing to regain, return to his formthat he did two years agowhen they went to the Super Bowlor is he battle scarred, Jackie? And is he going to have a tough timeto be an injury prone movingforward in the season becauseof what he incurred last year? What's going to happen?Well, first of all, as I just said, there's going to be a lot of elementsthat's going to have to come into play, from playing therookies to play selectionto Matthew Stafford just generallythe way they manage him on aregular basis, pitch count. Those are all things going to have to bemeticulously handled. But can he come back anddoes he have the capabilityat his age to play at a top level?I'm inclined to believe he is, Vince, because I know that myjob was a whole lot morephysical than his ever will be.And I know that I had toremy pec, busted up my tricep.I did this.I hurt my knee.I hurt this. And Vince, with time, those thingswill get better so thatyou can manage the painand that you can besuccessful with your experienceand your technique and all the thingsthat you've acquiredas a veteran ball player. So yes, I still see himbeing a productive guy.Because first of all,Sean McVeigh and him, they are going to collaborate on anythingthey do in the passing game and make surethat he's capable of making those throws. There might be timeshe might stretch him. It's particularly if they get behindand they feel likethey've got to go for a big shotor something. And they might ask him totake two or three big shots. Those are the kind ofthings that's going to tax him.But for the most part, with John McVeigh's offense, which is spraying itaround and all of that,in the passing game, heshould be able to handle that. The key is keeping him up right, Vince. He can't get hit in the lips.Because if he does, that's when we'regoing to have a problem. And I agree.I think you have to surround him with theproper talent, Jackie. And what happened lastyear, he lost Vaughn Milleron the defensive side. They lost Odell Beckham.Jackie, they lost Andrew Whitworth. These were experienced players.Robert Woods was reserved.Robert Woods the year before that. They brought a lot ofcharisma to this team. Can Matthew Staffordgenerate that same enthusiasm--That's a good question. With this younger, talented group--That's a good question. And will they take hislead and move forward?Certainly has the experience and theknowledge to do that. But I think it'simportant, as you mentioned, how they're going toorchestrate their game plan, how they're going to usetheir philosophy, what'sgoing to unite them and bedifferent moving forward. They're going to have to play the 49ers.Seattle's stronger now.Had a great draft. So there are some goodteams in the NFC West. They've got to regain thathierarchy back to playinggreat ball. What you were alludingto right there, Vince, when you asked about it, you werealluding to leadership. You were alluding to whothe guy is that everybody'sgoing to look to whenwe've got to have a play. And I remember-- and Idon't want to embarrass you,but I remember when theyfirst start playing you.And there was somequestion as to whether or notyou were going to be ourstarter or the other guywas going to be our starter. They had brought theother guy here highly toutedand everything. He felt real good abouthimself and everything.I remember that. But I do remember thatwhen we went into games, the same level of intensity was notbeing given when he was on the fieldversus when you were on the field.I mean, guys are layingout horizontally in the air.Chemistry.You're talking about chemistry. And leadership. You went to the Super Bowl. And leadership and belief in a guy. Now, has Matthew Staffordlost that with his team?I don't think so.And I hope not, because if he has,the next couple of yearsare going to be miserable.Well, that will lots to be said and lotsto look forward to in this coming season. And I think the Rams will bounce back. They had a great draft.Let's talk a little bit about a couple ofLet's talk a little bitabout a couple of free agents, free agents, Jackie,Jackie, that are still out there thathaven't been picked upby any teams. And one of those is DeAndre Hopkins.DeHop.DeHop came from Houston, was with lastDeHop came from Houston. What was with lastyear, he was with Arizona. He's still a free agent, Jackie.Because of his salary demands, Jackie, isBecause of his salary demands, Jackie,is that one of the reasons whyhe hasn't been picked up yet?Or is he just waiting for somethingto happen in an injurysituation so he can get picked upby a team that will really producewill really produce andand he will become comfortable?Because the Patriots, because the Patriots, the Titans, thethe Titans, the Chiefs,or three teams are looking after him.Is he waiting for theseason to start before he signs?season to start before he signs?Or what's going on?That's an interesting question.Because everybody knowsthat that quarterback needsto develop some chemistry with hisreceivers right away. And in fact, a lot ofpeople blame the Rams' failureRams failure this pastthis past season on the factthat Matthew Stafford was outMatthew Stafford was out with his elbowwith his elbow and missed a lot of timewhere he could get somewhere he could get somecongruency with the Rams'congruency with the Rams pass receivers.past receivers. So I think-- now relative towhat I think about DeHopkins, about DeHopkins, II think this guy is one ofthe most talented receiversthat I've seen play the game.that I've seen play the game.I've seen him make catches, I've seen himI've seen him make catches.I've seen him run routes and get open.run routes and get open.I've seen quarterbacksdrive the ball toward himwith confidence, eventhough he was sometimes covered.covered.They expected him tomake plays, and he did.make plays and he did.Interesting thing about DeHop, last yearyou made $27 million. Now this late in the game, I don't knowNow, this late in thegame, I don't know how many--if you look at the Patriots, you look at the Patriots, the Titans and the Chiefs, I don't knowthe Titans, and the Chiefs, the Titans and the Chiefs, I don't knowI don't know which one of those teamswhich one of those teamscan afford to shell outcan afford to shell out $27 million. So that might be a bit of anissue in getting him signed. The other thing is, we know he's notgoing to go back to Arizona.Arizona because why would youBecause why would you paya guy the way you paid himwhen your quarterback is busted up,your best quarterback is busted up,and may not even play this season?even play this season, you see?So I think that optionis not a real option. But for me, I believe in what he said andBut for me, I believe in what he saidand what he thinks of himself. This young man says that I have anotherThis young man says that I have anotherhalf a decade in me,easy. And you know, looking at thereceivers that you play with, all the great receivers, some of the best ones we know,of the best ones we know and have watchedand have watched inRams, history, Isaac Bruce,Isaac Bruce and guys likeand guys like HenryElla, people like that,Henry Ella, people like that, these guysthese guys play 15, 16years, Harold Jackson. They get better with any of these guys. They get better with any of these guys.Absolutely.Absolutely.Because it's smart, it's smart, RobBecause it's smart. It's smart, romp, running, and gettingopen and everything. So for me, this guy right hereis a very valuable commodity, valuable commodity, talented commoditythat's on the open market.Never heard a bad word about him.Never heard a bad word about him.You know, it's just a matter of who'sIt's just a matter of who'sgoing to pay him, I believe. And then it may not just bewho's going to pay him this.to pay him, Vince, itIt may be that he goes on these visitsand he meets these quarterbacks. And that he sees thetype of personalitiespersonalities he's going to work with.he's going to work with.personalities he's going to work with. And that might haveThat might have something to do with it.That would influencehis decision, for sure. But one thing for sure, Vince, Ithink he's going to be on someNFL roster when it's all saidand done.I do, too.I definitely agree. He's too talented notto be out there, Jackie.to be out there, Jackie. And like you said, he mayAnd like you said, he maylook at the quarterback. And of those three teams, Patrick MahomesAnd of those three teams, Patrick Mahomeswould be the quarterbackof choice he would go to.He would fit in withthat system because theyhave a bunch of tools. They have a bunch ofThey have a bunch ofweapons on that team. But I can understandwhy the Patriots wouldwould like to have alike to have a playerlike that because he opens uptheir offense. They need a go-to guy. They need a go-to guy. They haven't reallyhad any great receiversthe last few years. The other team is arunning team with Derek Henry. And that's the Titans. And that's the Titans. If he ends up with the Titans, that wouldIf he ends up with the Titans, thatwould open up their passing. It'd make theirrunning game more successful. So I mean--Did you notice the one--Those three teams willfit in with five for him.The one thing that you consistentlyThe one thing that you consistently saidsaid when you coveredall three of those teamsis that his signing willopen up that passing game.open up that passing game. That's it?It just makes it thatmuch more effective.Hey, man, you got to call it.Like I said, if theguy's good, he's good.Well, a lot to look forward to thisWell, a lot to look forward to thiscoming year, Jackie.I mean, we're going toreally be excited to coverto cover the
